Why choose a 220 Volt unit?
Meglio Pro Steam Cleaners are manufactured in two different version; first one requires a 110-120 Volt power supply (standard North American outlet) and second version requires a single phase 220-240 Volt power supply (ovens, dryers or welder outlet for example).
What is the difference between both?
The total power of the machine is the main difference. The 110-120V version draws a total of 1750 Watt while the 220-240V version draws a total of 3200 Watt.
Concretely, this means the 220-240V version will heat faster and generate nearly twice as much steam compared to the 110-120V version. It also allows a constant stable pressure steam flow for long-lasting cleaning jobs.

Which one we recommend
220V offers more power
If you plan on always using your steam cleaner in the same places and you know for sure you can have acces to a single phase 220-240 Volt power supply. In this case we would definitely recommend choosing the 220-240V version of the Meglio Pro. This version generates more steam and offers a constant stable pressure steam flow for long-lasting cleaning jobs.
120V offers more versatility
However, if you plan on using your steam cleaner in many different places for different clients, chances are high that you will only find 110-120V standard power outlets to plug your steamer. In that case it is way more usefull to choose a 110-120V version. Don't worry, this version still offers enough power to effectively complete all your cleaning tasks. Even more power than any comparable on the market.
